One of the attendees, Clementina Chery, shared her heartbreaking story of losing her son to gun violence in 1993. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share her experience with law enforcement and emphasized the importance of learning from those directly affected by gun violence.

President Joe Biden’s administration has made efforts to address gun violence a priority, with a focus on implementing measures to prevent further tragedies. ATF Director Steve Dettelbach echoed this sentiment, calling for increased action to protect lives and prevent more faces from being added to the tragic wall of victims.
