Actor Emraan Hashmi is currently making headlines as he shoots for his upcoming film ‘Ground Zero’ in the picturesque location of Kashmir. The actor was spotted in an Indian army uniform on the set, which has sparked excitement among his fans in Baramulla.
Directed by Tejas Vijay Deoskar, known for his work in Marathi cinema, ‘Ground Zero’ features Emraan in the role of an Indian army officer. The film is backed by Excel Entertainment, the production banner of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
In a recent incident, rumors of Emraan being injured in a stone pelting incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir, circulated on social media, causing concern among his fans. However, the actor took to social media to clarify that the news was inaccurate and expressed his joy at shooting in Srinagar and Pahalgam.
Apart from ‘Ground Zero’, Emraan is also set to make his Telugu film debut with ‘They Call Him OG’, alongside Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj. The film is scheduled to release in September this year.
