Monroe County Criminal Court April Session: Pleas and Indictments

Monroe County Criminal Court recently held a brief session in April, where several individuals faced pleas and indictments for various crimes. Among those who appeared in court were individuals charged with offenses ranging from criminal simulation to felony evading arrest.

Tabitha Jean Biggam, 36, of Ohio Avenue in Etowah, was charged with criminal simulation in the amount of $2,500-$10,000. She received a sentence of 3 years suspended and was ordered to make restitution.

Robbie Lee Boughton, 53, of Moody Hollow Road in Powell, faced charges of felony evading arrest, simple possession of meth, driving on a revoked license, and DUI 5th offense. He received various sentences, including 1 year at 30 percent for felony evading arrest and 3 years suspended after 9 months for DUI.

Other individuals who appeared in court included Edward Brewster Jr., James Richard Covington, Drake Paul Durrant, Jeremy Clayton Hall, Jonathan Blake Jubar, Jimmy Marland Long, Zachery Scott McCulloch, Joseph Robert Moses, Christopher Shawn Newman, Pamela Rae Ann Rinderle, Corrie Adams Sanders, and Douglas Alan Suddath.

In addition to the pleas, the court also handed down several indictments. Some of the individuals indicted included Tristin Bryce Butler, Michael Craig Holcomb, William Allen Howard, Quinn Nicole Jarrett, Joe William Jones, Roy Allen Knox, Samuel Franklin Lankford, Buddy Douglas Mason, Stephanie Elizabeth Moody, Jimmy Ellis Ogle, Clinton Calvin Russell, Charles Anthony Shearer, and Joseph Perry Wall.

These individuals will have status hearings scheduled in the coming weeks to address their charges. The Monroe County Criminal Court continues to work towards ensuring justice is served in the community.
