Pakistan’s UN assassinations claim: New India invades your home | World News
Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Munir Akram Launches Attack on India
Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations, Munir Akram, made headlines during the General Assembly meeting this month by launching a scathing attack on India. Akram referred to the “new India” as a “dangerous entity” and accused the country of being involved in targeted and extra-judicial assassinations in Pakistan and other countries.
Quoting a report from a leading US daily, Akram stated, “new India comes into your home and kills you.” He further elaborated on India’s alleged campaign of targeted assassinations in Pakistan, which he described as “extra-territorial state terrorism.”
The accusations made by Akram come in the wake of a report published by Britain’s The Guardian, alleging that India conducted multiple assassinations of targeted individuals inside Pakistan as part of a broader strategy to eliminate terrorists living on foreign soil. The report claimed that India was involved in targeted assassinations in 2023, resulting in the deaths of 15 individuals.
Additionally, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently accused the Indian government of being involved in the killing of pro-Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a designated terrorist. Nijjar was shot and killed in Canada, leading to the arrest of four Indian nationals for their alleged involvement in the case.
In response to the arrests, India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar denied receiving any evidence implicating Indian nationals in the killing of Nijjar. The accusations and counter-accusations between India and Pakistan have further escalated tensions between the two neighboring countries.
The allegations made by Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the UN have sparked a new wave of controversy and debate, highlighting the ongoing tensions and conflicts between India and Pakistan on the international stage.
