The 15th annual visit of Community Mayors for Children with Special Needs took place on April 17 at the Queens, NY campus, where over 300 children with developmental and physical disabilities had the opportunity to interact with St. John’s student-athletes.
The event, organized by the Brooklyn-based nonprofit, provided the visiting students with access to sports activities tailored to their needs and abilities. St. John’s athletes and coaches led the children through various game areas, engaging them in training demonstrations and play.
