Man Sets Himself on Fire Outside New York Court Linked to Trump Trial

The shocking incident of a man setting himself on fire outside the New York court where Donald Trump’s hush money trial was set to begin has left many in disbelief. The man, identified as Max Azzarello, threw a stack of pamphlets in the air containing conspiracy theories before immolating himself, leaving him in critical condition.

According to senior police officer Joseph Kenny, the pamphlets contained information about Ponzi schemes and alleged connections between crypto billionaires, former US president Bill Clinton, sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and Hollywood actor Rob Lowe to an “apocalyptic fascist world coup”. The manifesto titled “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial” outlined Mr Azzarello’s theories and called for attention to what he described as a totalitarian con.

Days before the incident, Mr Azzarello was seen protesting outside the courthouse with a sign that read “Trump is with Biden and they’re about to fascist coup us.” Videos of him reading parts of his manifesto and calling for a revolution have since gone viral on social media.

Police have labeled Mr Azzarello as a conspiracy theorist and are investigating the incident. His condition remains critical, but he is still alive. The shocking act has sparked conversations about the impact of conspiracy theories and the lengths some individuals may go to in order to draw attention to their beliefs.
