ISU football made a big move by landing a commitment from 2025 DE Charlie Woleben, while Iowa’s Clarissa Chun was recognized as the USA Women’s Wrestling Coach of the Year. In other regional college sports news, Nebraska added a transfer from Wisconsin, and Paige Hoffman of Northwest Missouri State earned MIAA honors.

Iowa State’s football program secured a commitment from defensive end Charlie Woleben for the 2025 season. However, defensive back Norris Davis has entered the transfer portal, seeking new opportunities elsewhere.

Over at Iowa, the women’s tennis team secured a victory against Michigan State, while Chun was honored as the USA Women’s Wrestling Coach of the Year. The men’s golf team finished 10th in Columbus, Ohio, and the women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Big Ten Championships.
