Malaysian Influencer Jasmine Yong Mourns Tragic Loss of 2-Year-Old Son Enzo
Influencer Jasmine Yong from Malaysia is mourning the tragic loss of her 2-year-old son, Enzo, who passed away after drowning in a hotel pool earlier this month. The heartbreaking news was shared by Yong on Instagram, where she also posted images from what seems to be the boy’s memorial service.
Yong revealed that the devastating incident occurred on Mother’s Day when Enzo wandered out of the family’s hotel room while she and her husband were napping. The family was staying at the hotel as part of their Mother’s Day celebration.
In a poignant Chinese-language caption translated to English, Yong expressed that Enzo is now a “happy little angel” who is no longer suffering. Enzo, who often appeared in Yong’s social media content, was snuggling with his parents on the bed before falling asleep after drinking milk.
The couple woke up to find Enzo missing and discovered that the door to an area with an indoor swimming pool had been opened. They found Enzo unresponsive in the pool and immediately performed CPR. Despite their efforts, Enzo did not respond, and they struggled to get help due to poor service in the hotel room.
After rushing Enzo to the hospital, his heart briefly started beating again, but he ultimately succumbed to the tragic accident. Yong pleaded with the public not to spread rumors or exaggerate the circumstances surrounding her son’s death, asking for Enzo to be able to leave the world peacefully.
Yong shared videos of Enzo following her initial post, honoring his memory and cherishing the moments they shared. This heartbreaking story serves as a reminder of the importance of water safety and vigilance when children are around swimming pools.
