Philip Barbour Athletes Ready for Class AA State Track and Field Meet

The Philip Barbour and Elkins high school track and field teams are gearing up for the Class AA state meet in Charleston. Ben Tenney of Elkins is leading the charge after dominating the Region II meet, winning high-point honors and helping his team secure the team title. Tenney will be competing in multiple events, including the 800-meter run, 1,600, and 3,200, as well as the 4×800 relay.

Other standout athletes from both teams include Nate Hulver and Drew Morral from Philip Barbour, and Emilia Tenney and Julia Biola from Elkins. The state meet promises to be an exciting showcase of talent from these schools, with events kicking off today and concluding on Saturday evening.
