Brainerd Warriors Dance Team End-of-Season Banquet Awards and Achievements

The Brainerd Warriors dance team had a successful end-of-season banquet, where Camryn Anderson and Eva Clough were named the Most Valuable Players. The team also celebrated their academic achievements, with several student-athletes earning Academic All-Central Lakes Conference honors for maintaining a 3.4 grade-point average or higher.

Additionally, the team as a whole finished with an impressive 3.7 grade-point average, earning them All-State Silver recognition. Seniors Cassidy Rardin and Lexi Strus were recognized for their outstanding academic performance with Academic All-State honors for having a 3.85 grade-point average or higher.

The varsity letterwinners were also acknowledged, with each member receiving recognition for their hard work and dedication throughout the season. The team excelled in both kick and jazz categories, with several dancers earning All-Conference and All-State honors.

Individual awards were also presented, with Camryn Anderson receiving accolades for her kicks and toe touches, Beatrice Hartwig for her leaps, and Eva Clough for her turns, as well as the stick it award, hardest worker award, and personal placement award. The team also recognized Rardin with the Warrior Award for her contributions on and off the dance floor.

The banquet concluded with the presentation of the Heather Star Habeck Scholarship to Madison Raskin and junior varsity participation awards and accolades. The Brainerd Warriors dance team had an outstanding season, winning conference championships, section titles, and placing fourth at the state competition in jazz. Their hard work and dedication throughout the season truly paid off, and they are looking forward to another successful season in the future.
